I was thinking re-release at first, but given what has happened with her marriage, I don't think she'll want to keep promoting the songs on her current album given the content. I think it's now going to be a 2nd album, possibly out during the next series of the X-Factor so she can take advantage of the free promo.

I agree. She'll be promoting the current album in Australia in August, so I think after that the promo for 3 Words will end and the new album era will begin.

am i the only one who still thinks a new album will seem like too much too soon? as much as i want new music it'll seem like she's overdoing it, one thing is Girls Aloud, girl bands are expected to release stuff one after the other, but solo acts like Cheryl usually are expected to wait a while and she's promoting the album in Australia in August and probably Asia too since the Japanese release is in August too, so releasing an album, let's say November, will be too soon! she's just starting off internationally! but i guess all these producers and writers are just too good for a re-release!

Not really, releasing an album annually back to back is a clever move to keep an artist in the spotlight especially new artists, for example look at GaGa, The Saturdays etc. And doing it during X Factor season is basically a given. The amount of promo anyone gets from performing on that show is ridiculous, let alone an artist being on it EVERY week from August till December.

If anything releasing a second album, even if the music isn't as good as the first, doing it a year straight after will only make Chez even more powerful as an artist.

glad to hear this,as the only songs on her 1st album were "dancier" ones...I find the rest of the album pretty boring

She needs Guy Sigworth for a dreamy little ballad like Everytime.
