I wish they would hurry up and reform to prove the press wrong  (<--- love that!)
Saying that though if they do get back together there will only be 'feuding' (sp?) within the band. It'll never end. Poor girls :console:

I don't think the Girls Aloud comeback is up to any of the girls, it will all depend on what the record label wants, and honestly, I don't think they are much interested about it. There are five memebers in Girls Aloud, so you have to multiply  per 5 all the expenses; royalties, stylist, transport, accomodations, and a huge etc. It's far more expensive. With Cheryl they get really good results without having to do any big effort, the promotion she gets is far less than what Girls Aloud used to do, and she stills manage to get better results.
A solo artist is easier to sell than a girl band, and also, Cheryl's music is more urban, a sound that nowadays is more consumed than the pop path that Girls Aloud used to follow. I can't see why would they want them back together (unfortunately for us).

Cole: 'Nadine will return to Girls Aloud'
Tuesday, December 21 2010, 12:12 GMT
By Robert Copsey, Music Reporter

Cheryl Cole has insisted that Nadine Coyle will return to Girls Aloud when they eventually reform.

In an interview on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, she said: "I haven’t got any news for you just yet but you’ll be the first to know when I do."

When Carr asked if Coyle would be involved in the reunion, she replied: "Yeah, of course. That’s all been blown way out of proportion. Nadine is very much a part of Girls Aloud.”

Coyle recently claimed that Cole's success away from the band means that she will dictate when the band will reunite.

She said: "We've got to be realistic about what has happened to Cheryl over the last couple of years."

Kimberley Walsh Promises That Girls Aloud Will Be Back

Kimberley Walsh has promised fans that Girls Aloud have not split up and will definitely record together some time in the future.

The singer, who is currently at #7 in the midweeks with her collaboration with Aggro Santos answered fans questions exclusively on Twitter earlier today through @welovepop and when asked if she was still in contact with the other girls she tweeted: “yeah, I keep in touch with the girls regularly. We’re always instant messaging!”

She went on to tell one fan that Girls Aloud would definitely return, despite being on a hiatus for the last few years. Walsh tweeted: “do not worry, we definitely have NOT split up!! We promise we’ll be back!”

There has been much confusion around Girls Aloud’s future, with all the girls focusing on solo projects and a rumoured rift between Nadine Coyle and the fellow four girls Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberely Walsh.

ditto I've been saying this for about a year now.

I said before the break to a mate the worst thing that could happen for GA would be for Cheryl to have success on her own. if she bombed like Nadine imo they would have got back together by now.

Thanks to Vicky for my sig

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
'Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for a while
'Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are
