Wish they'd hurry up its getting so boring.
In the coming weeks? I really am actually over this at the moment. First it was "a few weeks" back in December, then at the NTAs it was "within 2 weeks" and now its "In the coming weeks"?
Theres a difference between being a tease and keeping people interested and annoying the hell out of them
The hype has mostly been down to the press up until now. Simon/Syco/FremantleMedia have very little control over that, so now that they're in control of when to release information, I can understand why they'd take their time to make sure the announcements are made at the perfect moments. I mean, that's what it comes down to; timing. The ads being played during the Super Bowl was ideal, with over 100 million viewers - it's the start to the real build up.
As for it being boring, I think they're well aware that a lot of people are on tenterhooks, waiting for the judges to be revealed. It might be tedious, particularly for fans of the show and/or Cheryl, but the majority of people - Americans - would've merely been reminded of the upcoming series starting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was another two weeks or something before they announce the judges... Actually, it wouldn't even shock me if they chose to announce one judge at a time.
