GIRLS ALOUD PLAN WORLD TOUR
GIRLS Aloud will seize on Cheryl Cole’s amazing success and reform for a world tour as she conquers America.
The girlband, recently dogged by rumours they have split for good, will get back together for a series of blockbuster gigs.
Beauties Cheryl, 27, Sarah Harding, 29, Nadine Coyle, 25, Nicola Roberts, 25, and Kimberley Walsh, 29, are planning the big comeback to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the chart-topping band.
And in a move that will finally scotch stories of disharmony among the bandmates, all five will be at Sarah’s wedding later this year.
The band have only performed together once in 19 months, with gossip raging about behind-the-scenes bitching and jealous fall-outs.
They originally said they were having just a 12-month break to work on solo projects.
But yesterday sources close to the band said they would be back next year to take on the world after Cheryl’s anticipated debut on the US version of The X Factor.
One insider said: “Early next year is pencilled in for the reunion tour. It’s going to be absolutely massive.
“Cheryl could be a US superstar by then if her appearance on American X Factor goes according to plan this autumn, so they want to capitalise on that.
“It will also be the band’s 10-year anniversary in 2012, so the timing is just perfect.
“And with Sarah’s wedding being the showbiz marriage of the year, the girls will be back to the height of their fame again.”
Sarah will wed DJ Tom Crane, 25, with a host of A-list stars expected to attend the glittering ceremony.
There had been fears that some of the bandmates may have to miss the big day due to work pressures.
But yesterday Sarah laughed that off, saying: “All the girls will be at the hen night and, of course, the wedding.
“I really wish everyone would stop saying we don’t get on.”
Meanwhile, Cheryl was pictured in the weekend papers with a “mystery blond hunk”.
But friends say the long-haired guy is just her hairdresser and she is still “very much” with sexy US dancer Derek Hough, 25.
