The Cheryl Cole Foundation

Cheryl Cole is launching her own charitable foundation with The Prince’s Trust following a meeting with The Trust’s President, HRH The Prince of Wales.

The Cheryl Cole Foundation will provide vital funds for The Trust in the North East, helping disadvantaged young people from Cheryl’s own region

Cheryl said:

Too many young people grow up thinking no-one cares and don’t believe they can make anything of themselves. They have so much potential – but can go off the rails without the right care and support. I want my Foundation to help them realise their potential and get their lives on track.

I have always been a great admirer of the work The Prince’s Trust does with disadvantaged young people across the UK. It’s the perfect charity for my Foundation to support.

ASOS Auction

Cheryl Cole is joining forces with online retailer ASOS to sell some of her favourite outfits on ASOS Marketplace, with proceeds going to the charity. The clothes on sale include some of her coveted outfits from X Factor including the dress she wore in the final on the night that Alexandra Burke won.

Twenty items from Cheryl’s wardrobe will be up for grabs for two weeks in June. For each item, there will be a ‘lowest unique bid’ auction – so the bid that is lowest and unmatched when the auction closes will win the bid. The money will be donated in full to the Cheryl Cole Foundation and distributed to Prince’s Trust projects in the North East. More details about the sale will be posted on this page shortly. There will also be further details in this month’s Glamour magazine and in Grazia and The Sun as well as on ASOS Marketplace.
