Walsh: 'Aloud reunion when time is right'



Kimberley Walsh has insisted that a Girls Aloud reunion is not "hinged" on Cheryl Cole's involvement with The X Factor USA.

Last week, the singer dismissed claims that the group would reunite for a world tour next year. Writing in OK! magazine, Walsh told fans that the five girls will decide when the time is "right" to get back together.

"There's been talk that a Girls Aloud reunion is hinged on whether Cheryl gets the US X Factor job. But that's not true!" she said. "We will regroup but it will be when the five of us decide the time's right."

Sarah Harding recently commented that the fivesome are "very much still a group" despite tabloid speculation to the contrary.

In this weeks Hello magazine it had a article on Sarah says they still text eachother and phone eachother and says with Nadine in America 'it's notlike we can pop round for tea'.

True, this is one hell of a long break,  :lol: would have been nice if they could be honest with fans from the outset, I think they knew dam well it was over.

All we keep hearing is that they haven't spoke about it yet, or they'll do it when they all want to, or some other crap. So when exactly are they going to feel the time is right? They won't, cos they clearly have no intention of coming back.

I hate to be so negative about it, I'd absolutely love for them to come back, but realistically it isn't going to happen.

It's just lies after lies, "We will make an album in 2010", "We will be back in September 2010", "We will be back in 2011"

I have lost almost all respect for them as a band. I would have totally respected their decisions to split up, they could at least been honest with the people that have done nothing but support them for 7 years.

I hate the girls hanging on but tbh, I also feel bad for them!

If they aren't getting back together, I can't blame them for not saying because even though there will be some fans that think "Ah well, been a great 7 years! :)", there will be those moody bastards that will be like "OMFG WTF?!?!? :o They lied! They said they'd get back together! Bitches!!! :evil:" and the girls might not wanna say in case these twats get on their high horse! :?

I can understand why fans might react a little "OMFG!" about it (I would...) but it those "fans" that would probs turn on them for it that it probs holding them back from just admitting it and telling us "You know what, there's no more GA." :?
None of them fans are on here btw, you'd probs find them on Twitter or some shiz :drama:

I remember [one of] them saying that it was a joke when the likes of Take That announced they were splitting up, and made their fans cry, blah blah, just to get back together after N years (I'm not being literal, of course. :lol:)
I think that they simply didn't know if they wanted to split for good (and they probably don't know right now). It's a way to keep their options open without all the circus of splitting up (and reforming.)

The thing is if they really were signed on for 3 more albums, then it's my best believe that they are under some contract. So they should of been back by now. All am saying is i think they lied right there too.
Also the re-union thing would have been more believable if five of them were seen together (at least for once), which we never ever did since that September. It's more than obvious something happened between Nadz and 4 of them, we just don't know what.
The news of Nadz getting a new management, Cheryl releasing her album in the states, Sarah and Nicola likely solo debut isn't assuring at all. Nadine would probably write songs for another two years. Cheryl would be so busy trying to crack the states which if she succeeds would eventually have her moving stateside. Meaning she won't be capable of being as active in the UK anymore. While Nicola and Sarah would be busy promoting their album and yeh the recording would take at least some couple of months.Kimberley....ummm i don't know, busy with TV shows i guess. All these just leaves no scope for a re-union for at least another 2 to 3 years.
Sorry but i really am not optimistic about it anymore. If it does happen, it'll be more about the money rather than them being keen on it.

Just because they have a 3 album contract to fill , it dosent mean we are getting three new albums. Ill bet one of the three albums is another greatest hits. They need to decide if the bands important anymore. Is it really important for Cheryl to rush another album? I would much rather her take the time to produce some quailty.

Patiently waiting for my gurls to come back. Either that or Nicolas album

The girls are allowed to take a break i respect that. But i do feel like its becoming a long break from one another i would love them to be back in the studio eary 2012 at the lastest :)
