I just hope she promotes properly this time. If there's no album then I think she should go and promote in different countries in Europe like she did last year.

Id honestly like a new album if its really good. It would make up for MLR at least

MLR was better than 3 Words though and that was made up of, mostly, rejects. But at the same time, 3 Words had songs that were much more instant, more epic, I guess.

Cheryl bring album out in August, Nicola next month.. Then Sarah&Kimberley (if their doing one.) then their back?
you just have to be patient.

i'm happy where getting another Cheryl album, hopefully this one will be better then 3W and MLR.

I think its opinion that though because 3 words is much better to me.

I don't get why fans are so hyping up for a new album in August, if y'all want new music rush release isn't the way. :/

On camera, Tinie Tempah said he wouldn't duet with Cheryl Cole because her music is not her cup of tea, he likes Cheryl as a person, he doesn't like her music.

Oh really? That's a shame. TBH I prefer 3 Words as an album overall, but as people have said, I just don't want her to rush it then drop it after 2 singles. IMO, Rain on me would have been great. Looking forward to Nic's though, but I do wish they'd all get back together, but I don't think it'll be anytime soon.

August really? I love Cheryl but why can't she hold off on releasing another album and really take some time to record some good songs instead of rushing it all the time.

30/11/11 Cheryl tweeted me!
"Sometimes things get tough but you've just got to fight on. What are you going to do? Give up, curl into a ball or are you going to keep fighting on? My message is fight on. You can't give up and lie down. You've just got to keep going."-Cheryl

I agree it would be rushed (although I doubt we'll have a new album in August)... but isn't that what Girls Aloud have been done year after year?

On camera, Tinie Tempah said he wouldn't duet with Cheryl Cole because her music is not her cup of tea, he likes Cheryl as a person, he doesn't like her music.

Unless he likes the song... I don't see Tinie Tempah listening to JLS in his free time and he did a collaboration with them, anyway, Tinie Tempah is like Dizzie Rascal, he's doing a lot of collaborations and by the time a single between both of them could be released everybody would be tired of him.

There are other people with who she could do a collaboration, it should be something fresh with someone who is not constantly on the radio... the same happens with producers.

Im not sure whether the problem with her music is that its rushed. Her singles are amazing and some stand out album tracks.

I think its either its being rushed or which to me makes more sense

I think its that the label just wont pay for good songs, just a few good ones for singles then blag the rest. If the bought better songs I dont think the time would matter really. If they bad 10 good songs or 10 bad songs it would take the same amount of time to record them

I think we can all agree that Girls Aloud (and Xenomania) being able to deliver album after album and keep the standard of quality over the years was special!

^ Agreed.
Maybe she's releasing it earlier so she has time to promote it here in the UK, and then in the US (providing she gets the job.) If not, more promotion would probably help, as she can't rely on the X Factor forever. I hope she goes round Europe again.

Completely agree. I don't really think there's enough effort being put in, but if there's a new album per year then it wouldn't make sense to waste money on a half-hearted single, as opposed to FFTL or Promise This.

Well...I'm with a lot of you, I don't LOVE the idea of a rushed album, but if it contains material that she's proud of, then I hope it is a good album and I'm okay with it being released. In retrospect, it would be better to wait a while and make sure every song is perfect for the album, but I think she'd rather get it out quickly to please fans.

I want a Nicola album too!! I can't believe they said April, but we have yet to hear anything!

You could be right but they weren't the only artist recording an album every year, Rihanna is another example...

Music of the Sun (August 2005)
A Girl Like Me (April 2006)
Good Girl Gone Bad (May 2007)
Good Girl Gone Bad Reloaded (June 2008)
Rated R (November 2009)
Loud (November 2010)

The bigger gap is between Good Girl Gone Bad and Rated R, 2 years, although Rated R is not her most successful album... GGGB and Loud were done in 1 year. I agree with thomas1700 and TheGoose, it's more about choosing the right songs and paying for them (or being a good spotter and going for something a bit different). Umbrella was a reject, but Rihanna's team and Jay-Z changed some parts of the song and the result couldn't be better...

I didn't say they were the only ones, there are little artists to deliver good albums consistenly year after year, I was just saying GA are one of them.

Have to say I never really listen to Cheryls songs anymore
When the album first comes out I'm like 'this is so good' and a few weeks later I'm bored of it,
I never get bored of GA songs though,
Same with Nadines album I was bored of it after a few plays

The girls should realise there all better together and therefore scrap any new solo material and get back together promto ;)

If the campaign's gonna be like the last two then I'd rather not her do an album. I don't want the same XF performance, Radio 1 interview, CIN performance like the last two albums and she needs to make better music.

I'd love a new Cheryl album, just as long as its not completley rushed, but knowing her, she works hard and only releases her songs when she's proud of them. So I reckon it could turn out well, if enough time is spend on them.

AND, as long as she promotes it more than MLR, and also tours around Europe like last year, I will be happy.
