I know Nadine and Nicola have a twitter thread, so I thought we could have a Cheryl one too? And yes, you ARE reading correctly, Cheryl now does have a VERIFIED account on twitter! (The little tick means it's real, yes?)

I really do have mixed feelings about this

People will just spam, but I think after the Injunction, she needs something like this to keep in contact with fans, if you get me.

The injunction is just for her house, it makes no difference really. Either way I don't see how the injunction has anything to do with fan connection anyway...

I wonder if it will even be Cheryl that tweets or someone on behalf of Cheryl. And when was that account uploaded? Last night while her party was goingon or this morning?

I think Nicola encouraged her!

How can it be a bad thing.

She can tweet her fans saying her single or album is out.
She'll get a huge amount of followers once people realize she has joined.
She can tweet Nadine Happy Birthday next year lol!

and she can correct all these rumors

I don't think she is gonna tweet herself but ask others to do it for her, just like Fascination and supersonic do it for her now but it will have advantages. I think it's more to reach out to fans rather than to read what fans are saying, so i think this will be more of a information service - so no need to spam her really, i dont see her reply, she would probably get management to proof read every tweet at her rate! but i guess the odd tweet might be nice!

But she said herself if she ever gets it she doesn't want to halfass everything and do the whole management tweeting thing, she would do it properly.

I'm kinda confused why she has it now, wasn't she supposed to be a technophobe? Maybe she's going to do a twitter chat like Nicola did to promote something, or to get rid of rumours?
But yeah I see your point. I'm glad she's on there but I just hope she doesn't get alot of psycos tweeting her angrily about Ashley, or XF or something. I don't really see her tweeting often though.

I was already following this account so I guess its the one that has been on since like March, but only just got verified recently.

Also, I am a little surprised she got twitter, but oh well. Just hate the friggin spamming already -.-

i know people are saying its a bad idea but it will be a good way to fill fans in about whats happening, i dont think she will ever tweet fans if im honest, it will just be announcements about new songs etc, most of which her team will probably write, but Cheryl will most likely read everyones tweets, i just dont think she will reply to any fans individually

that account was made on the 8th March, why it's only just been verified now though is weird. I think it'll be her team tweeting from it tbh, I really hope she doesn't look at her @ replies much or at all

Oh really? Maybe it was made so she could tweet about XF like Paula Abdul? Well whatever reason she's got it there she still gets free promotion, which is always nice. Are her @ replies mean or something? I can't see many negative ones? I'll go look again.

There may not be yet but we know she has some serious haters, so when they realise I can imagine them giving her abuse

That account has been around for months and months before March where it was a person tweeting and pretending to be her, it was re-evaluated, all tweets removed in March.

the only thing that im worried is that, if she even know how to reply.

im not a technophobe but when i first joined twitter, it was all WTF. it was confusing and i have to get a friend to teach me along the way. but yeah i don't think it is totally for personal use. it will be like nic's or brit's.

but people were still insisting that it's her and i thought they're on crack. and when i click again, it has changed

cheryl seems to be touched by the fans support through the last few years so i think she just wants to talk to the fans and put a stop to rumours but i could be wrong it depends how cheryl/her team want to do it but we will soon find out.

also i think its amazing that shes allready got 20,000 just from the power of fans because it hasent been promoted on supersonic pr/her website/facebook and the newspapers this tells me that it could be a while before we get her first tweet
