How was she snubbed in 2009? she was a solo artist for a couple of weeks... and in 2010 she couldn't have attended the EMA's anyway.

I dont think she will get to go or be nominated or perform until she has really made a huge impression over there. Im sure she could have been nominated for the UK act though.

Aren't the EMA's the European Music Awards? she's made in Europe the same impact, for example, than Jessie J (and in some countries more than her).

They are yeah. Did Cheryls album do well though as I can only remember really 'Fight' and '3 words' doing well and going to number one in a few countries. I think this in itself id deserving of Nominations but this year anyway she hasn't done anything In the rest of Europe really so Im not surprised she isnt nominated. Hopefully when she does her next album she will go over there and promote for even longer than last time no that she has nothing to hold her back.

It did like Jessie J's album... nothing special, but Fight For This Love was bigger than any single released by Jessie. Hope she's there next year since she won't be at X Factor and she could attend the awards.

I know, I think Cheryl is miles better. But it depends on how well it done. Hopefully next year will be a good year in terms of music and promo.

Yeah she should have been nominated with Fight and 3 words. That's why im saying until she makes a huge impression. For some people unfortunately Cheryl comes into this with the EMA's they have to do a bit more than other's.

She should have been nominated in 2010 after the success of 3 Words and FFTL. They weren't omg huge successes throughout all of Europe but they were successful and extremely successful in the UK so I think it's weird that she wasn't nominated at all. They've just started pretty much nominating the same acts as the MTV VMAs now with a few European acts tossed in.

She doesn't need to make one, she's already the biggest popstar in the UK and Pixie Lott being nominated at the EMAs lowers the bar enough for just ANY UK act to be nominated, which is why Cheryl was completely snubbed last year.

I know. But I imagine if next year she does a huge album campaign over Europe, bigger than the one she did last time. She will probably do really well again. I imagine she will be nominated.
